The stated mission of the Green Ambassadors program is to empower youth to be agents of change in their community and the world at large. Through environmental education, Sara Laimon, a founder of GA, strives to empower youth with the skills of leadership and cross-cultural awareness to affect the world around them. One student, one adult, one business, one high school at a time.
This Tuesday June 12 at 9PM PST/EST on the Sundance Channels program 'The Green', the Green Ambassadors will be profiled in what I hope will provide the launch pad for international expansion and a successful fundraising effort.
